Thanks Scott,  great how to begin advice.  I am an admirer of Frederick Church and to top off the temptation a chance to paint out with you and others.  But I have a commitment here in Edenton for Saturday.  I will plan to see the exhibit on another day.  Blessings, Dianne

Hi Dianne, the sky is the limit!!:). Starting out, make it simple, find 1 or 2 other artists you are connected with and plan to meet at 9am somewhere to paint, and go have lunch together afterwards. Make sure the weather is nice, not too cold or windy. Sunny is good. If you had fun. Plan another one and bring another friend. Watch the lots of videos on plein air painting on our site. Take a plein air workshop with some of your friends. The most important thing is to have fun and learn from all your experiences. I hope to see a lot of painters at the Reynolda House next Saturday Mar 24th if the weather is good. Check out the Events page. Post photos of your paint out! Have fun!! Scott Boyle
