I just wanted to thank Scott for kicking off our inaugural paint-out for 2011. We were blessed with beautiful weather for February and were joined by several new members at our meeting at Summit Coffee.
Hi Kathy. So good to hear from you. I'll be at the Mint this evening and look forward to visiting with you there. My husband and I have been going to the Tetons in the summer for several years. It is indeed a plein air painter's paradise along with its own special challenges--like bears!
I'm on my way to Atherton Mill this morning to help Larry and the other volunteers as we put the finishing touches on in prep. for Friday evening's opening. Can hardly wait to see your LAST TRACE OF SNOW.......and to meet you (I think we may have spoken to each other at the GCA meeting last week ::)).......again, congratulations for having a piece of your work in Carolina's Got Art's FIRST EVENT 2009!
YES, I thoroughly enjoyed the GCA meeting..........Kurt was wonderful, but so was the membership. So friendly. CONGRATULATIONS! Looking forward to seeing you on Oct 2. I had a piece chosen for the Carolina's Salon Des Refuses and almost exploded with excitement when I found out. Also, I'm part of the Piedmont Pastel Society, and along with Bre Crowell, will be teaching one of the mini-workshops (ours is )on Oct 9. You can see the description of the workshops on the CGA website. LIFE IS GOOD.
See you soon and look so forward to that!
