I meet Jeremy Sams at the Kinston paint out plus his show is up at the Arts Council and I love his paintings. There is this feeling of peacefulness in them.He was telling me about Banner Elk plein air in August. It turns out I have to go back to California and I cant do Burnsville.
Desert!! Bet you had to use a whole different pallette.I have seen some really great paintings of Death Valley. I do like my 72 shades of green though.
Hope to paint with you in Burnsville if you are going.
Just got back from Monterey ,Ca, Plein Air Convention found a gallery in Carmel that is selling pastels and a gallery owner who likes pastels, sells for Kim Lordier called James J. Rieser Fine Art. I think your paintings would work well there. Sorry to be so bold and abrupt but in the middle of a family emergency. Will post pictures on the blog when i have some time of the paint out in Monterey..How do you plein air with 700 artists!!!
Will be at Kinstion Plein Air and Exposition tomorrow.
