Event Description

To combine the efforts of North Carolina visual artists, community leaders and the general public in a one week long event to include a three day Plein Air Workshop  taught by Artist John Ebersberger, (Maximimum of 15 participants) and a two day “Plein Air Paint Out”, featuring numerous sites in Rowan County.  (Let's all get out there and PAINT!)

The event will provide opportunities for aspiring young and interested adult painters to work alongside the region’s most successful working artists.

We encourage painters to sign up for the Paint Out as soon as possible. The first 100 will receive a nice cap with the logo embroidered on it.

The City of Salisbury and Rowan County are very excited about hosting this event and we have several sponsors.

Courtyard Marriott is offering a special room rate for visiting artists.

Please note that high school and college students are encouraged to participate, also.  The rate for student entries: 5.00, Adults: 20.00.
