Beat the heat this month and take your painting to a higher elevation. On Tuesday June 14th some of us will go up to Roan Mountain for the day to paint, where it is about 20 degrees cooler. Subject matter will include mountaintop views from grassy balds, Rhododendron in full bloom, Flame Azalea, beautiful Red Spruce and Frasier Fir trees, Appalachian Trail and clouds you can almost touch. There is a daily fee of $3 per car.
