Thanks Scott.  You are the best!  As always, thanks for your encouragement.  Your dedication to the Charlotte Plein Air painters is so appreciated.  I may try to attend the Davidson paint out that Nancy has coordinated tomorrow.  Not sure yet.

Hi Scott, Yes I have painted with OOPs at the USS North Carolina in Wilmington, several weeks ago. It was a great painting day and those are some nice and talented folks.

I started painting En Plein Air about 3 years ago and just love it. I currently paint out weekly year round and look forward to painting out with Charlotte Plein Air Painters. I see a few familiar faces!

See ya soon.

Hi Scott,

I'm looking forward to painting with Charlotte Plein Air Painters.  Actually, I am in charge of scheduling weekly paintouts for Plein Air Carolina.  We are based in Salisbury, NC.  I'm hoping that our groups can schedule some paintouts together.

Hi Scott,
Can't make the paint out. Will be at a show this weekend and on to Sedona in 1 and 1/2 weeks. I am so excited I got the Easy L set up. I purchased the 12x 16 box, tripod and their umbrella as well. I love the set up and would highly recommend it verses the Open M Box. I did originally order the open M which was more expensive and did not have a built in panel carrier on the back. I was promised the Open M box on two different dates. When it did not arrive on the second promised dated, I called and canceled and ordered the EasyL from California and got my whole set up in 4 days.

If a company can't deliver the goods then they loose out. I do feel that the EasyL is a much better box. Now all I need to carry is my Box on a shoulder strap, My tripod ( nice sturdy quick release) and umbrella in one bag with a shoulder strap and a lightweight back pack on my back with all the necessary supplies and I have both hands free. Finally a set up I can live with. I can also use it for pastels. I can bring pastels in boxes and just lay them in the palette section of the box.

Boy!!! am I excited this will make set up so much easier.

Hope all had fun at the paint out at the farm. I had a good workshop and they want more.

Thanks! I am looking forward to being a member. I was a member of a plein air group in Rochester NY- where I just moved from. My skills have started improving and I really enjoy plein air work. I paint mostly in acrylic, some oil.

Hi Scott, This only took me 15 minutes to figure out how to leave you a comment. Soooo! Computer challenged. Any way - Count me in for the $15.00 as I appreciate all that you do to keep this idea and the paint outs going. This a small price to pay for keeping us all in the loop and having a chance to paint together. So glad that we will be at the GreenWay as it is fairly close to where i live. A nice perk for me. So far for now I should be there and will see if I can get otyers to come out as well.

I was waiting for when you would let us all know as I was aware that the FREE site would be ending via the Eastern Artists Network Group.
Have a fun forth and will see you soon, Ginny

Hi Scott, just e-mailed some info about the group to a lady I met today Her name is Holt Mclean and she is so looking for a group to paint with. Also I have some fun news. In October I will spend a month in Sedona painting with my Georgia compadres. The Sedona Center for the Arts will be having a big Plein Air Painting event for one of the weeks we are out there. My friend Marsha Savage submitted to be one of the invited artists for the event. Here's hoping you gets invited. This will be so awesome as anyone can watch the invited artists working all over town and park areas, as well as mini workshops that will be offered. I am very excited and I can check this off my "Bucket List" Happy painting,

Ginny PS I learned so much at the Bill Davidson workshop and feel my oils have made a major leap forward.
