Scott, I remember the first time I'd ever painted plein air and it was because you'd shared the outing was going to be at Mary Erickson's and I packed up and joined you and the group. Was wonderful. The next opportunity I could seize was in Gaston County at the South Fork River. Had no idea what was in store. The third time was at Freedom Park in Charlotte! Since then, have been out on my own several times with a couple of friends. BUT NOW, AS TIME ALLOWS I want to be with THE CHARLOTTE PLEIN…See More

Parking will really be an issue. Thanks for all you have been doing to help put together this great show. Larry and his crew have done a fabulous job putting this all together. See you Friday night. Carol Pighin, the president of GCA, forward to me your gracious e-mail about attending our meeting on Wednesday night. I am so glad it was received so well by those attending. Curt is an amazing artist and I have learned so much from him since I began his classes at Gaston School of the Arts this past January. I hope to see you and meet you October 2 at Carolinas Got Art. To my great amazement, one of my entries was selected! I hope you will continue to attend our GCA meetings. Kathy
