On Thursday April 14th, about 12 artists painted together at
Gina
Strumpf's home in Charlotte. We had several first timers
and a few new members. Gina is a wonderful artist and lives
on a beautiful property full of azaleas, dogwoods, flowers and
winding brick paths. This day was one of those unusual
weather days which was heavenly. There is no other way to
describe it. The light was consistent, no wind, no bugs.
plenty of shade. We all had 4 - 5 hours to take it all
in. My painting actually became what I would call a studio
painting as I worked on it for about 4 hours. I think we will
try to do this next April again.
Below are a few photos.
