Hi Artists,

Next Friday August 17^th we have a wonderful Plein Air Paint Out at the Sweetgrass Mountain Community near Blowing Rock (Rain or Shine).  Sue Glenn has asked us to bring a couple of paintings that we have previously done at Sweetgrass to be Exhibited during lunch time 12-1:30PM.  Sue Glenn from Blowing Rock Realty is such a wonderful host and great supporter of the fine arts. Sue is inviting people in the community to view the exhibit and to buy paintings.  She is not asking for a commission, only that we talk positive about her development at Sweetgrass!

Cost: FREE

Details about displaying your works:

*Bring only 1-2 paintings for display at a time (space is very limited)

*Bring an easel to display you piece(s), find a way to secure paintings in case of wind, if we are forced to set up outside due to limited space.

*Bring business cards

*Please be back a 4PM to show wet paintings

Directions:  From Blowing Rock, take US Hwy 321 to the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Access the Parkway headed South (toward Asheville). After approximately 7 miles on the Parkway, take the Holloway Mountain Rd. exit.  After exiting,

bear left on Holloway Mountain Rd. 1/2 mile to the SweetGrass gates.  Enter the gates, then stay right at the fork on Summer Day Drive approximately 1/4 mile to a left on Blue Lake Drive and the parking areas in front of the Lake House.
